The results of the study showed that when the two groups that are borrowers and non borrowers were studied in their monthly revenue with the relation to the variable costs their gross margin were different where the gross margin of the borrowers was 60% compared to that of non borrowers which was 58.87% this reflected that credit to women owned micro-enterprises is of important and has great contributions to their growth and expansion. Also the results found that there were number of factors which limits the access to credit among the women owned micro-enterprises which include the  lack of business experiences, lack of business licenses , the lack of fixed assets and the lack of salary slip or bank statements for those employed The study concludes that given the established network of MFIs and the high contributions of credit observed from micro-enterprises improving lending terms and conditions in favour of women owned micro-enterprises would provide an important avenue for facilitating their access to credit.
